What is a paint correction? Its leveling defects in the paint by removing thin layers of your clear coat. Other term used is buffing.

Polishing, compound, and sanding are 3 levels of paint correction. Each one is a different grit level that achieves different results and has their own limitations.

A polish is refining light and surface imperfections such as buffer trails, light scratches, light etching, oxidation and most commonly swirls marks. By removing defects it enhances the color depth of the vehicle giving that pop or deep gloss.
Compounding is more abrasive than polishing. Its design to cut through light scuffs/scratches with
ease, etching, and severe oxidation.
Sanding is the most aggressive out of the 3 mostly done by only focusing on the damaged area. The goal is to keep as much paint on the vehicle without risk of burn through (clear coat failure).

Down below in the photo you'll fine swirl marks/micro marring, light scuffs/scratches, deep scratches, buffer trails/pig tails/hologram, and etching
Paint Polish & Protection
The vehicle will be quickly clayed and showered with iron remover to ensure a clean surface.

All outside paint will be polished.

After the polish, IP wipe to remove any oils from the polish

Protective sealant applied lasting about 5-6 months

Heavy Clay may need to be added due to severe surface contaminates

Paint Correction & Protection
Paint Correction & Protection is compounding, polishing, and adding sealant as protection.

Compounding removed almost all but that deeper scratch which needs to be sanded out
Scratch Removal
Scratch removal includes spot sanding, compounding, and applying a polishing wax for protection.

Not all scratches are created equally some are too deep and need to be touched up or completely repainted.
Some scratches will not be attempted to be removed due to the thinness of the paint. Moving forward on thin paint may result in burn through and clear coat failure.
Speed Polish
Speed Polish is a all in one polish and wax leaving behind good results. It removes swirls and waxes at the same time. Wax last 2-3 months. It can be layered with more wax for protection.
Speed is to give overall a better appearance and not recommended for like new results
